The staff here are just staff and didn’t seem nearly as professional as those at Warm Springs. There was a horse in one paddock in a shed too far away to really see it well. Then you can walk a very short distance (just a few yards) outside the barn on a path adjacent to a couple of the paddocks. Here you can walk through the barn where if you are lucky a house or two may be in a stall. We were a little spoiled because we had visited Warm Springs Ranch a couple of months ago and it really puts the grants farm operation to shame. It seemed like the point of the tram was to get us to the tier garden which is essentially a bid petting zoo fir kids, where everything to do is a separate charge.Īlso there are some Clydesdale horses. The guide was pointing at things in rapid fire style as they slipped buy. There are lots of deer related animals there but I thought the tram moved much too quickly. Maybe should have people or signs directing to other attractions. We live 5 hours away and were on our way East for a wedding, and since they are only open on weekends we will not be able to stop back by. Whether those areas were closed for the fest or we just couldn't find our way to them, I felt disappointed that we had paid the raised parking fees for the festival and hardly saw anything. Maybe this was because of Fall Fest and the large amount of children present but now reading the reviews and hearing friends ask if we "saw the donkey that goes with the horses" we realize we missed so much. My husband kept saying "there was more than this on the map"- but we could not find any way to access it. Thinking that was all there was to see, we left before our actual reservation time even arrived. We got our picture taken with a Clydesdale in a small building. There was a childrens play area (for pay) and a food vendor truck where I got some popcorn.

There were no animals in the stables and no signage to tell how to get to other areas, most paths were blocked by gates. We bought the parking for 11am, got there early, went in and saw a 3 Clydesdales in the barn, a few small animals in small pens in the field and walked out by the pumpkin patch.
My husband and I visited on Oct 10, during Fall Fest.
